What is a Home Value Estimation?
In an effort to add even more functionality and value, each off-market page on remax.ca now offers a home value estimate, courtesy of Teranet. This exciting new feature covers almost all Canadian addresses, giving your clients and potential clients a great starting point to better understand how much their home is worth with accuracy and integrity.
Why is there a price range displayed and not a specific value?
We know there are so many factors that contribute to how much a home can sell for. For this reason, we will present customers a price range and point them to the real experts — our RE/MAX agents — to offer a more definitive answer. We expect an increase in lead generation with this. Additionally, it will position RE/MAX as the true expert in both buying and selling real estate.
I don't think the price range displayed is correct, where does this information come from?
All Home Value Estimation data is provided by Teranet. Teranet sources this data from several different channels. This data is updated regularly. Click here for more information on Teranet.
My client does not want the Home Value Estimate displayed, can it be removed?
Once a listing is in an active status, the Off Market Page, which hosts the Home Value Estimate, should no longer be available on remax.ca. If you find an Off Market Page does exist for an active listing, please reach out to our Support Team by visiting www.MaxHelpsYou.com.
