Listings displayed on remax.com are sourced from either an IDX feed or a ListHub feed.
RE/MAX listings are sourced from an IDX feed with the MLS.
Competitor listings on remax.com may be sourced from either depending on restrictions implemented by the MLS.
The MLS IDX feed will be used if the MLS allows competitor listings to display on remax.com. In that case, all active listings in the MLS will display on remax.com.
If the MLS IDX feed is not able to be used to display competitor listings, then the listing data will be sourced from ListHub. All competitor listings may not be available in the ListHub feed. Brokers & agents have the ability to opt in/out of the ListHub feed, as well as opt in/out of their listings being sent to specific websites.
You can identify if listings on remax.com are from an IDX feed or a ListHub feed by doing the following:
1. Go to remax.com
2. Search for homes in the area you are checking
3. Select a home
4. Scroll down to the very bottom of the Listing Details Page and review the copyright statement. If the copyright statement refers to ListHub, then the listings in that market are sourced from ListHub data. If the MLS information is displayed, then listings in that market are sourced from the MLS IDX feed.
